Guests often ask,  "What is a proper amount to tip your massage therapist/host?"  The answer I like best is that if you enjoyed your massage, your therapist appreciates your feedback, and a gratuity speaks volumes!  The industry standard answer is 15% to 20% of your treatment total.  Gratuities are not expected, but greatly appreciated, as they help your massage therapists pay for healthcare and the other costs that most regular people's jobs pay:-] We prefer that our guests offer a tip as an appreciation for our service & attention to detail, not as a "requirement" as some establishments do.

Why don't we offer a 30 minute massage?

We offer professional thereputic massage, and feel that we cannot properly address the needs of our clients in so short a time.  A full-body massage can be accomplished in a minimum of 45 minutes.

What types of massage do we offer?

Our highly skilled, licensed massage therapists offer Pre-natal massage, Cranio-Sacral, Reiki, Reflexology, AromaTherapy, TriggerPoint Therapy, Deep Tissue Sports Massage, Shiatsu, and Cranio-Sinus Treatments.

Why do we drape [cover the client with a sheet]?

We are a reputable day spa, offering the finest in theraputic massage techniques.  We drape or cover our clients to ensure their comfort and modesty.

Why do I need to drink "lots" of water after my massage?

It is recommended that you drink at least half your body weight in OUNCES [ie. a 100 lb. person should drink 50 ounces of water each day] after a massage because the treatment releases toxins that have built up in the muscles and tissues. Left un-flushed, these toxins settle back into tissues making you achey and lethargic.
